Emily Dickinson (1862)

I dwell in Possibility –

A fairer House than Prose –

More numerous of Windows –

Superior – for Doors –

Of Chambers as the Cedars –

Impregnable of eye –

And for an everlasting Roof

The Gambrels of the Sky –

Of Visitors – the fairest –

For Occupation – This –

The spreading wide my narrow Hands

To gather Paradise –

This is an invitation. A reminder that creativity isn’t about walls or limits, but about openness and expansiveness. It lets hands move freely across a carving block, canvas, or a page. It gives space for curiosity, connection, discovery. It is a way to gather little pieces of paradise, even in ordinary, moments. So let yourself stretch wider, inhabit possibility fully, let your work, life, and attention open toward the unexpected.
